Perpetually disturbed.
By what?
The insane massacre at Virginia Tech, the murder of a volunteer in the philppines, the 9 year old boy who got eaten up by a few crocodiles at the same time. And the assholes who show indifference, give disgusting smirks, and produce sarcastic comments.
http://juliainthephilippines.blogspot.com/Read this blog. And tell me whether the author of the blog deserves her death in that manner. Found in the jungles, her feet sticking out from the mud, when uncovered, a heavily bludgeoned head. Her death came on a lone hiking trip. And the say the most probable reason is robbery. A foreign volunteer, sacrificing her life and time, helping kids somewhere far from her motherland, brightening up lives of many, an educationer. And she gets killed in this manner.
This isnt the end. One filipino official actually BLAMED THE DEAD VICTIM FOR BEING CARELESS AND ALONE ON HER HIKING TRIP. Shit you to the rotated figure of 8.
She gets one quarter of the page on the papers.
Somewhere in China, curiousity killed the cat, or boy in this case. A few boys climbed over their school fence or something, into the neighbouring former public park with showcases of crocodiles, sharks, poisonous snakes and so on. A picture with a huge part of the boy in the crocodile can be seen, with blood all around the jaws. Totally frightening. And two of his friends were there to witness his being torn up by a GROUP of crocodiles as they literally shared him. Imagine you watching a friend get torn up. Okay, dont think about it.
He gets less than half of the page on the papers.
Today s papers gave Cho, the frigging mastermind of his own demise and that of 32 other innocent people, about one whole page.
And Jack Neo gets two whole pages for whining about not getting red carpet treatment at a movie appreciation event overseas.
Of course, this is not the key issue of my post. I just feel, disturbed. Lives are being taken, day after day, and they are innocent lives. Massacres, robbery, and even curiousity. How fragile.
We are, that fragile..
