Actual Incident.

Hwa chong student and girl boards buss. Girl's EZ link card beeps alot of times after setting off alarm to inform the driver the card is either lost or stolen. Bus driver intervenes and askes to retain the card. Refused. Hwa Chong student punches a bus driver MANY TIMES after driver attempted to stop his girlfriend and himself from leaving the bus. He snatched the card from the driver who had the right to retain the pass.

Witnesses on the bus gave similar accounts. And one man had to use both arms to restrain the boy from walloping the bus driver.

Student's account.

HE SAID HE SNATCHED THE CARD BACK AS HE RECALLED A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE WARNING THEM AGAINST GIVING THEIR IDENTIFICATIONS WITHOUT REASONS. AND THAT THE BUS DRIVER GRABBED HIS ARM, AND HE STRUGGLED TO BREAK FREE. IN THE PROCESS HIS ARMS FLAILED AROUND AND HIT HIM ON THE FACE ACCIDENTALLY, AND IT TORE THE BREAST POCKET IN THE PROCESS.
